Product descriptions for THREE FLOOR's Resort 20 Collection
My job becomes much easier when I get to write about stunning clothes, that I quite literally lust after from my laptop screen. So, when this brief came along to write product descriptions for their new Resort 20 collection, I spent a lot of time doing just that.
Embodying their premium look and tone of voice, I put my high fashion hat on to write these product descriptions which touched on how they have been made, as well as the intricate details that are unique to THREE FLOOR and their wonderful designs.

The Three Floor Misamis Dress utilises luxury fabrics and Eastern-inspired prints to create a full length, oriental vision. The dress is crafted from the season’s exclusive chinoiserie Ming- Vase print in rich blues, golds and greens, for a contemporary expression. With an empire waistline, flattering feminine cape sleeves and satin contrast details, this flowing maxi piece is made for movement.
Step outside of traditional eveningwear conventions with the Peretti Dress which playfully blends luxury satin with a crepe skirt. The feminine empire line shape compliments the sophisticated V-neck and low back detailing. Decorated through shimmers of the thin diamanté chain and detailing on the back, this multi-textured piece adds a dash of sparkle.
When structured tailoring meets a classic mini dress, you’ll meet the Bardot Dress. For an ultra-cool statement that oozes sophistication, this fit and flare dress is crafted from a Three Floor exclusive jacquard in rich red, blue and yellow hues. Bold ruffles on capped sleeves and a low cut back all flow effortlessly to the subtle smocking on the back.
It’s time to shine with the Maysan Dress, crafted from super soft sequins that dazzle in an array of blue tones. Falling to the ankle, the classic midi silhouette is enhanced with a high wrap over skirt, falling away from the fitted cinched waist. Extra drama is added through blouson sleeves, juxtaposed in a sheer mesh and completed with oversized cuffs.
A mesmerising cherry blossom colour palette playfully blends with artful ruffles to create the flowy one-shoulder Araki Dress. Floating from the fitted waist, the maxi blossom fan print dress features solid pink contrasting panels at both the skirt and the shoulder ruffle. Full blouson sleeves and an exaggerated hemline add subtle definition to this free-flowing piece.
Not for the faint hearted, the Fearless Dress is guaranteed to capture attention. The bold red fit and flare structure is layered with contrasting luxury lace, seamlessly flowing from the top to the hem. A smooth satin bustier and a dainty thin waistline finish this superior statement piece.
Dazzle in the moonlight with the Moon Stone Dress, an eloquent tribute to the craft of oriental origami. Cut from semi-sheer pewter organdie, the dress is doused in ultra-feminine ruffle details, from the cold shoulder statement complemented with an asymmetric neckline, through to the oversized peplum hem. Elegant scatterings of dainty polka dots and a structured elasticated waist give this floaty, full length gown plenty of movement.
Take a mystical trip with the adventurous Solar Dress. Equipped with all the details to make a star-studded entrance, this classic lamé mini dress flows from a deep v-neck with an oversized neck tie, to delicate balloon sleeves and then cinches back into a flattering ruched panelled waist. A true testament to the cosmos, this dress’ iris blue colour shines under the moonlight.
Elevate the pencil dress with Three Floor’s detail inspired Elizabeth Dress, exuding confidence and refinement. Crafted from sunset-inspired crushed satin, the dress features a 40s neckline complimented with slender straps, a pleated low back cowl and an asymmetric skirt with subtle splits. Influenced by the traditional wonderment of Eastern culture, the shape of the dress pays tribute to cheongsam, through a fitted wrap waist and feminine pleats.
Captivate the room with the subtle notes of glamour accentuated in the unique Amira Dress. Crafted in a balletic shade of dusty pink, this dress is doused in super soft sequins which shimmer with every step. The full-length silhouette is elevated further from a dramatic thigh split, flattering pleating on the waist and puffed sleeves to dazzle at any event.
Luxury satin in the rich midnight blue tones of the Brigitte Jumpsuit pay homage to the night sky. An ultimate in day to night transition, the blouson top features balloon sleeves with ruched details and is gathered at the waist with an oversized ribbon. Demure in design, the jumpsuit’s classic wide leg trousers are accentuated through pleat detailing.
