Jam Shed Email Copywriting

As part of the Digital Content Manager side of my role at Accolade, I’ve been able to dip my toe more and more into the email marketing side of our business. Not only did I direct the design of these send outs, but I also wrote all the copy. 

Here’s the first one in our planned flow (more to come over the coming months):

While this looks pretty and reads well, I’m sure you’d be more interested to know whether it was successful or not. And that it was! This was sent to subscribers who had opted in to marketing communications and it had an open rate of 49.8% (industry average is 21.3%), with a click through to product links also sitting at 49%. That’s a pretty big win if you ask me!
