Making cake look even more delicious for e-commerce
The Brief
Lola’s were just launching their new e-commerce website and were done with the tried, old-school cut-outs that once existed on their site. They wanted to switch-up into a more polished, lifestyle setting, that showcased flavour, texture and down-right delicious cakes. Whether it was limited editions, new collections or classic flavours, it was my responsibility to give Lola’s a new look-and-feel that helped sell online.
The Execution
A selection of stills which focused on making the cakes look the best they could be. From group shots, to showcase full collections, through to macro-shots of decorating detailing, every image considered the shopper at the heart and showed them what they wanted to see. Some assets were more inspirational, to drive consideration of a cake gift for various occasions. While their original intension for use was e-commerce only, to drive visual consistency, these assets were also used across social, print and at-cart POS.
